Ryan is sick again...

Took urgent leave today cos found Ryan's breathing very noisy... Throughout the whole night... he didnt sleep well let alone me and HC. Since Sunday he has been rejecting milk.. not sure what is the cause initially. On Monday he had muscus coming out.. so decided to let him drip his nose drop again.. and ask MIL to monitor him. Mil told us that he has been rejecting milk.. keep crying for no reasons... so i decided to drag his feeding time to longer hours.. instead of 3hourly, i make it 4.

This morning, sms my boss to let him know that i need to take urgent leave. Brought him to Healthway to see Dr. Zainal. Indeed his nose was blocked thus causing him to reject milk cos not being able to breathe properly.. Dr. Zainal then said to let him breathe on the ventolin for about 10mins to clear his passage way. Went into another consulation room to let Ryan fix on the mask... he did struggle abit. After awhile he was fine... Looking around... Everything done, waited awhile to see Dr. Zainal again to check on his lungs.. slightly better and will need to review him on Friday. Total spend $52 for today consultation.

Came home and slept for half an hour before waking up and cry for no reason.. Fed him milk and medicine.. now he is playing on his rocking chair.. going to make him sleep soon..

Was on half day today. Ryan turns 4 month based on chinese lunar calendar. According to old folks tales, he got to shave his hair and eyebrows, can get to taste a chicken drumstick and prawns.

Went home after work, he was woke up and got excited when i call his name.. ha... Keep wanting to talk to me.. Hmmm... hmmm... that's the sound he could make..
Change him and brought him to a salon. Mil tagged along.. Had his hair shave clean cos during his full month, we only cut yi si yi si only.. Had his eyebrows shave yi si cos i told the lady dun shave off everything...

Weather quite greyish... Woke up with usual routine and intend to bring Ryan to attend BB Ayden baby shower...but... heavy rain came and say hello so send Ryan to Circuit Rd. Let mum enjoy Ryan's company. haha...

Reached Circuit rd around 11plus... and not long gong gong (my dad) called back and ask if Ryan is here cos he heard my voice.. Mum said yes and dad just ask mum to tabao lunch for him and he wants to come home for lunch... haha.. Gong gong miss Ryan!

Settle Ryan for awhile then i left to AMK where Mei is holding Ayden's full month party.. Reached around 230pm.. then followby Gigi and Owen, Amy and Veron then Michelle.

Catch up alot and chat while watching tv movie.. a show starring Fann Wong, Jin yin Ji, Zhu HouRen and some ang moh actors and actress... and finally the STAR of the day, BB Ayden.. We took turns to carry him...

Thank God Its FRIDAY!!!

Finally last day of the week is here.. Seem like a long week for me. Dunno why.. maybe because Ryan is not feeling well for the last few days.. Brought him to the PD on Wed. Dr. Zainal is temp operating at Healthway Woman and Child clinic @ Hougang Mall. He was having slight cough for the since monday. So decided to see the PD for medication for him to get well soon cos he will be having his jab on this coming monday. His lungs are cleared so less worried but no cough mixture given to him cos he is too young to take. Only given nose drop to clear his running nose.

These few nights can hear him cough in the middle of the night... and can really hear him breathing.. Think he is really getting uncomfortable.. His feed also drop last night.. Fed him milk around 9plus nearing 10pm.. shortly after, he vomitted all out.. thus, have to bath him and get hubby to change the sheets... After his shower, fed him water and he fell asleep... right up to 315am.. he was crying and coughing.. so fed him his milk, and pat him to sleep in my arms before putting him back to his cot.

Woke up this morning @ 715am..thought he wanted milk but he refused... and was crying again... So fed him with water and he sleep again. Took this opportunity to prepare myself for work. By the time i am done, his anklet bells ring... ha.. he woke up already! So quickly prepare his milk and feed him.. At least he guai guai let me feed... but at the same time he wants to play! ha.. see him smile, it certainly melts my heart.. Cant wake for KO time and rush home to see him..

2nd Day of this week... 3 more days to weekend.

Last sunday (15 Jul'07) didnt bring Ryan back to Circuit Rd cos mil sent huge telex that all her daughters will be here and want to see Ryan cos long time never see him le... With such a big hint... how can i go back?? So stayed home and await for the arrival...

Daily routine as usual in the morning and let Ryan have his morning nap after his milk. While i clean my room and shower after that.. Refreshing after the shower. Da jie (SIL) called and ask if i want to go HGM for lunch so i ok loh.. anyway, nothing much to do. Mil came back after her gai-gai.. Just nice Ryan woke up so feed him and prepare to bring him out.. Mil saw me and ask if i am bring Ryan out and i said yes.. then i left the house le.. Went to Kopitiam in level 4 for lunch with Da Jie and her family, Da-sao and Princess and Huibing. Crowded man... but had the privilege of Huibing buying lunch for me cos Ryan was sleeping in the kangaroo pouch. After lunch went to Popular with intention to get some wrappers but didnt see any nice ones and Ryan making noise liao.. so i went home first with Da-sao accompany me.

Reached home, rest awhile and prepare Ryan for his next feed.. Shortly, everyone came back..

Yes, the older kids crowd around Ryan while the adults were busy talking and took turns to carry Ryan.. not long, Novel (2nd SIL) and his family came.. The older kids then rush to her son, Branden.. ha.. cos he's older, know how to play liao.. Time for Ryan to nap.. so brought Ryan upstairs for his nap and i follow suit! haa... Slept till 7pm then brought him down for his feed.. his Da-gu fed him..

3rd Visit to Private Chilren Clinic @ KKH

Woke up as usual for daily routine even though today i am on leave. Prepare Ryan as we have to go to PCC @ KKH for appt at 1110am. Done with preparation then went down to wait for "maria"As she will be accompanying me to KKH. She arrived in a cab and i hop in. Reached PCC at 1050am. We were early. We didnt have to wait very long for our turn. Our Q blinked on screen, 041111. Went on and put Ryan down on the bed. Open his diapers and Pd went on to check.

PD: Hi, so has it gone smaller??

Me: looks like the same to me.

PD: Hm, i will do some measurements.. 2cm by 1.5w. compare to the first time he came, it has shrink so i am hopefully.

Me: That's good but how long do we still have to wait?

PD: it could take serveral months unless u want me to take it out via surgery.

Me: erm... then can i bring him for his vaccinations?

PD: ya, i think you can go ahead but avoid his left bum and thigh and all these wont cause anything except fever.. so ya, i think you can go ahead.

Me: Ok, so i will proceed for his 6-1 jab.

PD: ok, so i will see him in 1 month time, 10 Aug.

Me: so long? Will it be ok?

PD: not a problem unless you notice something different then call up for appt.

Me: ok, thanks doc.

We headed out to make payment and take appt and time.. Next appt, 10 Aug, 1030am.. meaning, i can take long weekend liao.. ha...before i left, weigh Ryan on the weighing machine. Weighed 5.76kg and 58cm as of 13 july.

After that went to buy lunch for hubby and as usual, he carry Ryan around and "show off". ha... When he was done, maria and i walked to Bugis Junction to meet Huiling for lunch. Before that brought Ryan to visit his 'er-gu' @ PINC. Ryan fell alseep.. haa.. Then went to sakae for lunch and Huifen came and join us. See some pics...

Hubby's off day! Woke up early at 7am to prepare to pick Ryan up from Circuit Rd cos dad and mum going to the Changi Terminal 3 Trial Opening.. So reached around 815am, dilly dally awhile then left circuit rd and headed home. On our way, bought roti prata for breakfast... Reach home, eat breakfast, feed Ryan then 3 of us headed for dreamland. Didnt get to sleep much.. cos want to do some packing up..

Ryan woke up for his milk around 1plus.. then KO again.. Hubby woke up at 2pm, cooked maggi noodle and eat then change to go back to Circuit Rd again cos today we are celebrating Vanz's 2nd birthday! Reach Circuit Rd @4pm, sing bday song, cut cake and took some pictures.. Hubby came and pick us up at 530pm, went to tabao dinner then go home liao.. Cos Ryan's feeding is at 6plus.. Had our dinner, change Ryan to his pyjamas, feed him his milk and he KO.. and right now, he is still zzZZzz.. ha.. See how he sleep.. haaa...

Finally some time to blog. For the past week, been so busy at work so didnt blog much.
Some events for yesterday, 7th July 2007 (07.07.07)

Brought Ryan out and met up with two secondary school friends for lunch. Met them at Hougang Mall. Had Ichiban Sushi. Didnt take much cos not much choice.. and Ryan was in my kangaroo pouch.. Went he reached Hougang Mall, his eyes kept looking around.. He is getting more curious... but when to ichiban, he fell asleep.. Thru'out, he was sleeping soundly.. till when we finished our meals and mil asked me to tabao lunch for her.. So went to tabao and Jenny send me home..
Reached home to prepare for the wedding dinner. It's HC's cousin getting married and dinner venue @ Singapore Expo. Seem like a trend ever since after we hold our wedding dinner there. Proceed on to pack Ryan's stuff as i had to send him to my mum's place to camp overnight.. Didnt bring him along to the dinner was becos there will be a getai again at the dinner... HC came home around 4plus.. So we started preparing and left the house at 530pm and headed to Circuit Rd to drop Ryan at mum's place.
Went on to Dinner @ Expo.. Nothing much to say for dinner.. but alot of them got drunk.. Think they happy bah... we left expo at 1130pm.. HC drove BIL's car and send us home first cos BIL was one of the drunkards.. haa.. then after that his friend will send him to collect his car...
Reach home, while waiting for HC, i change the bedsheets and wash all the clothes.. by the time we KO, it'about 130am!

PPC @ KKH today.
Appt at 950am. Reached at 945am, registered Ryan then went in to wait. Feeling alittle anxious and worried.. wonder what will the PD say today again. While waiting, Ryan fell asleep in my arms.. I was looking at him... sweet little angel.. cant help but to cuddle him closer to me.
Ryan's turn came, went in.. PD's first question asked me..

PD: Hi.. morning! so did the lump swell down?
Me: Yes, i supposed
PD: Good, let check...

So i lay Ryan on the bed and open his diapers..

PD: Hmm.. ya, it did swell down.. good.. we can monitor again in two weeks time!

The weight in my heart was lighten.. i was so worried.. As the PD said this is the peak period for him.. in between 3-4 months it could either swell down if not, it will grow bigger.. Hoping two weeks time, i hear good news again. Took appt on 13 July @ 11am. Left the clinic and went on to Best Imprezzione to collect Ryan's feet! haa.. it's ready..

After that, called up HC and went to his shop and look for him..
Stayed there till 2plus then went home to rest.. End of my friday!!
