Happy CNY 2012...

My blog has been quite dusty for i haven't been logging in since Nov... ever since the birth of my girl.. i gradually find that my time is simply insufficient. Reanne is not a easy bb to look after as compared to her elder brother. For those who understand my situation will feel along with me; while those who don't, doesnt matter; your time will come soon.

For the start of the year, work has been busy. My dept simply unable to hire any good staff that will be able to stay long. I dunno for whatever reasons but sometimes i feel that my immediate supervisor does have some impact on her.. Her terrible moodswings.... Hopefully, there will be some good and patient staff will be able to work long in my dept.

My first CNY @ new place, first CNY with Reanne. We started our very first CNY reunion dinner with HC on the 20th Jan 2012 @ Jumbo Seafood @ Riverwalk. HC's bro managed to get discharged as well.. Double celebration. Thus, we have arrange a reunion dinner cum company dinner together. Some pics to show.

Mil's 60th Birthday

Mil is 59 this year but according to folklore... instead of celebrating 59.. we gotta celebrate 60 for her.

Initially she wanted to hold her birthday celebration outside with some relatives but due to the recent unforesee circumstances the kids decided to hold a very simple fare for her @ my place.

Order Neo garden mini buffet and bought her a cake. Hope she likes it. I know only wish to see her elder son get well soon.

Confinement Ends...

Today marks the last day of my confinement. My confinement auntie also just left.

First and foremost, i would like to thank her for being so accomodative to me. She was still working for another when i did called her and pre-alert her that i may deliver early due to my syptoms. She was very nice and gave some advice hoping to slow down the pain that i am having.

During my confinement period as compared to my previous.. i think i am very well taken care this round. Practically every alternate night, auntie will brew tonics for me to drink. To be very honest, i really drink until i scared. I know it doing good to my well being.. so endure loh..

Btw, today also marks the day that i am shifting back to my new place, Buangkok Cres... ciao!

My Time with Baby Reanne...

Being MIA for the longest time.. decided to drop a few lines down for updates.

I have always said that i was not prepared for Reanne's birth as i have not even bought her anything and what's more we were in the midst of doing house reno and i am staying at my mum's place.

Throughout my confnement period, i am the main care-giver to Reanne. Though my mum in law will be the one looking after her when i go back to work, it seems to me that she is like not quite bother. Anyway, just hope that my princess will be in a good shape everyday when i get back home. Just dun learn her nonscense.

Baby Reanne is a quick tempered baby. Often she will be wailing for attention; hence, compared to Ryan, she is a not so easy baby. As the day goes by, Reanne likes people talking to her. She will start making sound to talk to you. She is also a very playful baby... Perhaps she is growing day by day, she tends to play with her milk.. haiz... thus she does takes quite a while to finish her meal each time. I hope when she grows up, she won't be like this.

Come 25th July, i will be returning back to the very stressful place. I wonder how will my time be like.. to juggle between work and family.. esp with my 2 babies..

Dear All... Finally got some time to blog out all the things that i have been pending so such a long long time... My sincere apologies..

Shall start off with the recent ones..

My unexpected early arrival of my bunny girl.. ~ 26 April 2011

I was on hospitalization leave that day when i am experiencing pain from my lower stomach. The feeling was like very painful cramps.. I got worried and called my my gynae in the morning. Dr Cheng told me to have more bed rest and dun move around mentioned could be the stomach tightness. So beside going to the loo.. i practically was lying on the bed..

Come 1pm onwards, the pain came more unbearable.. so i tried to sleep and took the medication.. to no help... it got worse by 4pm and i was hesitating if i should call my gynae again. I couldnt take it anymore... and i called Dr Cheng for his advice again. His nurse instructed that if i can watch for the pain for the next 1 hr to see if it gets better if not, to go Mt A immediately.

I couldnt take the pain anymore so i quicky took a shower pack some of my clothes and called HC. He was also in a daze cos he was not well from dengue. He got stress and kan chiong in receiving my call. He immediately called his bro to send me to the hospital.. I slowly waddle down to the lobby and waited for him. I got onto his car and zoom off to Mt A.

Upon reaching, the porter got a wheelchair and wheel me up to the labour ward. I handed him my card and they got me to change into the gown and ask me to test for urine. There were bleeding and they got the gadgets tag onto my tummy. Suddenly i felt gushes of water coming out... i was horrified!! i immediately ring the bell... The midwife came and check on my and i was 5cm dilated.. holy shit!!! First time experience such things. Dr Cheng came and examined and told me that bb cant wait... have to come out liao!!

I was like in pain and tried calling HC to ask if he is on his way here.. as i gotta to be wheel in soon.. Pain too unbearable. They wheel me in to OT and by the time HC arrive, it was too late to go in.. I was given GA and shortly, my girl popped out.

Stressful daddy was waiting outside with MIL, princess and Sis in law.. they tag along.. As bunny girl arrived in week 35, the Pd and nurses had to standby for her in case she has to be placed into the incubator.. Thank goodness.. she was ok and thanks to the jabs that was given to my bums when i was warded on Sunday!

At 7.05pm, my bunny girl popped out. Weighing 2.225kg, Lenght:46cm and head circumference: 31cm. My pd, Dr. Terence Tan came out shaking my hub's hand and telling him not to worry and everything is fine for bb. We were thankful as her unexpected appearance really caught everyone by surprise.

Stayed in the hospital for 3 days before discharging back to my mum place for confinement.

Lastly, thank you everyone for the well-wishes and gifts for bunny girl!

Valentine's Day cum Birthday Present from Hubby

Happy Valentine's Day everyone..

A day where all restaurants and florist shop will earn big bucks. To me, so long, each couple treat one another loving with mutual trust, everyday will be valentines day!

Hubby got me a nokia touch screen C6-01 for my valentine's & birthday present. Killing 2 birds with one stone.. Clever of him right? I kinda of go abit of heart pain on the amount spent cos we could get it cheaper by signing the contract of my phone. He got this phone without contract; thus he paid more in the end..

Anyway, thanks hubby for the thought. I am still learning how to use it and literally, it became my son's new hp. Ryan said that it belong to him and is daddy who buy for him not me.. His birthday gift... hahaha..

Should i just sign and get another one for him?

Met up with Amy today for our shared birthday celebrations @ Nex. We walked around to see the selection of food and finally settle down in Lenas.. Food served quite nice and Ryan simply love the tomatoes salmon!

CNY UPDATES...

03.02.11 ~ 大年初一

Started our 'early' day with supper with HC and his friend for roti prata! Was feeling hungry as we had early dinner. So asked HC if he is hungry too. So after the CNY variety show, we drove off for our yummy prata.. Ryan went along with us too.. First time that he stayed up so late... by the time we reached home.. it's almost 230am... shower and changed him and he feel asleep.. Both HC and i spend some couple time watching tv show before sleeping.

Woke up at 9am to prepare and freshen up. 10am, our 1st vistor came. HC's youngest uncle and family. they sat for 15 mins before moving off.. For us @ 1130am, we set off to Hc's eldest aunt place @ Bedok Res before moving to his 5th uncle place @ Pasir Ris. There after, mil chasing us to go home cos she was feeling bored.. (she didnt like to stay there cos no one bother to talk to her).

SO we send her home and let Ryan take his afternoon nap before we proceed to my grandma place then my mum place for dinner. Each year, mum will invite my aunts and grandma to my place for dinner; this year with no exception. After dinner, i changed Ryan into another clothes before moving off to meet HC's sis to go visiting to his other relatives. Went to a few of HC's relatives and by the time we got home, it's about 10pm. Rest time!

04.02.11 ~ 大年初二

Rise and shine for prayers then relatives coming for visting. By 12plus we all got ready to go. As usually, 2nd day of CNY is a gathering day on my dad's side. Each year my uncle and aunts will do rotation on their CNY open house for us. Pot luck sessions as they are pretty good cook.. :)
Glad that HC can blend in well with them and my cousins too.. hahaha.. Stayed for almost 2.5hrs before going home cos we had a cruise ship to catch!

Yup.. This CNY, we had booked to go for a short getaway. We reached Harbourfront at around 5pm. Queued for the exchange of tickets before we can board on the cruise ship. After we settled the necessary stuff, we went on to board the ship... Bye Singapore for now..

Our 1st holiday as a family. Up on board, we checked into our room, 5553 and changed into our comfortable wear before we proceed to our buffet dinner. Ryan was very excited... He ate and enjoyed the scenery. Then we walked around the ship and took some pics... By the time almost about 10plus, we went back to our room as Ryan felt sleepy. Gave him a small milk and there he eventually knocked off. Then HC went for his fun!!! Yup, the casino.. Won $2k and beaming with joy when he came back and woke pester me for supper. Ryan was asleep so he went up to see if the good is good anot. He came down saying got burger, century egg porridge etc.. ok lah, woke Ryan up and had to carry him and we went for supper. HC certainly had his fill. Then we went back to our room before HC went for his 2nd round to try his luck again. By the time 5am plus, he was still not back yet.. began to worry and left Ryan sleeping and went to casino to look for him. He was just making his way out and beaming again.. hahaha.. ok, some winnings.. and he nap awhile before we go and enjoy our sun rise view!

05.02.11 ~ 大年初三

Day started as early as 7am. Wash up and went to view the early sun rise.. very beautiful and cold. Took some pics and proceed to go for breakfast. Ryan had cornflaks and fruit punch while HC and i had each of everything... Lots of people and they are pretty "yao kwee"hahah.. scare like never eat. Then we went back to our room and rest. HC and Ryan both fell asleep while it's my turn to go and try luck. Won small cos i pretty stingy on this.. haha but after that return all to them. Haiz.. no luck!

Woke the both of them up for lunch and brought Ryan to the indoor playground. They had this childcare centre where the kids are left inside with lots of activities for them to play. Amazingly, Ryan wanted to stay there so we paid for an hour fee and left him there to play as parents are not allowed inside. So we went for casino again. This time round, i just roam around and watch people play. An hour later, we went to pick Ryan and headed for ice cream and fries before going back to our room for some rest then dinner at the chinese restaurant. The food sucks a big time... then we headed back to level 12 for buffet to fill up our stomach.

06.02.11 ~ 大年初四

Rise and shine again for sun rise view... Our last day @ cruise. Nothing much to do. Just went for breakfast, let Ryan walk around before heading back to our room to pack up and check out. Went to the reception to settle our bills and collected our passport and waited for the ship to dock.. By the time we reached Singapore, it's already 11plus coming to 12noon. Had to queue to go thru customs etc and when we were finally out, we took a cab home and father and son had their shower and nap immediately while i had to settle the laundry before i nap.

Well... that's all about my CNY...

CNY Eve ~ 02.02.11

The lunar year is finally ending soon. This morning both hubby and I woke up early and prepare Ryan and send him to school. He was so proud and telling his teachers that his daddy & mummy sent him to school. hahaha

After we dropped him, we drove to HC's workplace as he needs to shift the big lorry truck to Defu. Waited for quite awhile before his things got settle and we headed straight to Toa Payoh and make the payment for stamp fee of our new flat. Another cheque issued: $8850.. Broke again! After settle our HDB things, went for a bite @ BK as i havent taken my breakfast.. Then went to drop cheque and proceed to kiddy palace to get some stuff.

HC also asked to called my mum as we are around in Toa Payoh, we can go and pick her up from school and drive her home. Lucky we went to pick her. After her work, she went market and bought oranges. After fetching her, we drove straight to Ryan's school and pick him before sending mum home.

Back home, did some chores and some calculations on the $$ that i have given to MIL for her spending!!! Piangz... anyway... shall not elaborate further.

Hope this new year can bring us a smooth and prosperous year for me and my family!

Ryan's 1st visit to Chinatown with LTH

Today is Ryan's 1st excursion to Chinatown with his school.

Took a day off and went along with him as i know, if i don't go, i will never into the area cos it's simply too crowded plus HC will never go with me.

Left house at 840am.. and strolled to his school. I joined him in his class before they set off to the porch to gather. The bus came and Teacher Cindy gace a speech before we set off.

We reached Chinatown at around 945am.. the tour started and we walked around the chinatown. It's quite rowdy with so many kids around.. as there were many other schools that brought their children to tour Chinatown. Walking around, we came across a very long queue with people queuing for bak kwa! The kids were fasincated with things they saw..

Too bad, i didnt get to take alot of pictures.. This time round not very convenient plus holding Ryan around cos it's simply too crowded!!!

On pre-arranged MC today as i had gynae appt in the morning followed by 1st HDB appt.

Send Ryan off to school after that went for breakfast then went back home. HC got home too and he managed to squeeze time off from his work to accompany me to the gynae appt. We were 5 mins late but had waited at least 1hr cos missy said there was a long winded case earlier and all timing were pushed downwards.

Finally our turn..Things looked good on bb and once again, doc confirmed the bb's sex, HC was grinning from ear to ear. Yes, it's a girl this time which he always hoped for. Wish came true for him.

Made payment for the package and medications and headed straight to Toa Payoh HDB.

Our appt @ HDB was scheduled at 130pm. Met up with the agents and all the other party. Took a queue number and proceeded for the appt and procedures. At the end of the appt, we spend $578.00 for the stamp and caveat fee of the house. Broke Broke Broke.. Now waiting for 2nd appt to come.

Sicko X'mas for Ryan & me

Been 3 days after X'mas.. Both Ryan and I are still not well! Damn..

Ryan started falling sick on the night of 23rd Dec. Throughout the day he was perfectly fine, enjoying himself at the LTH X'mas party. Went i went to fetch him from school, still looking good but temp was at 37.2. Went home put his bags down and off went went to Rigel for X'mas party. Upon reaching there, he almost became like a sick cat! He didnt want to mingle around, keep sticking to me and i felt his temp getting warm so called HC. So not too long, i left and went to the doc.. True enough, fever, cough plus flu all combo package. Sian sian sian..

24th Dec 2010 (X'mas Eve)

Had to work for half a day. He stay home with MIL. Cleared work till 3pm before setting home and glad that HC was able to send me home! :)

Reach home, saw him quite ok... hopefully he is on the road to recovery soon!

25th Dec 2010 (X'mas)

Brought Ryan to the Chinese Doc @ Tampines Took a cab from there. Given medication as usual.. Too heaty.. He wanted to shop around but end up wanting me to carry him.. Piangz... so decided we will catch a cab back to my parents place cos aunt invited us to her place for x'mas dinner. At aunt's place, after dinner, we wanted to make a move first cos HC was tired after a long day @ work... Ryan didnt want to follow us back.. keep crying saying wanted to stay @ popo house.. So HC relented and allow him to stay.. He was sooo happy! While both of us headed home..

26th Dec 2010 (Boxing day)

Since Ryan was not with us, we had the intention to wake up abit late but hor.. i think was natural alarm in us.. cant sleep in.. so woke up, clean up and set off for breakfast. HC drove to lower seletar rd for prata. Lots of ppl.. I didnt eat too much cos cough is giving me a hard time!

After breakfast, mil called and asked where we were cos we intend to go temple. She wanted to tag along!! Sian... Everything also must interfere.

Ryan's X'mas Party @ LTH ~ 23.12.10

On leave today and started my day early. Woke Ryan up @ 8am and let him take his milk.

850am sent him to school while i set off to Tampines to buy his party food. His class theme is on Indonesian cusine, thus i choose to buy kueh dar dar and onder onder.

Reached Tampines at around 930am.. so when for breakfast then make my way to Tampines One to 'stroll" while waiting for the shops to open. kedai Kue Kue opens at 830am but officially sells at 10am. SO when my watch reaches 10am, i headed straight to the stall and purchase the the freshly made kueh.. and went on to emicakes and bought a log cake for Ryan's school.

After getting all the needful stuff, i took a cab and headed back to the centre to celebrate x'mas along with the school and kids!

Celebrations in school with games and songs.. gifts exchange.. Then the kids exploring the food from different countries.. Kids started taking the food that they want to eat. Ryan likes the nine layer kueh. He had prata, mini hot dogs, bee hoon, brani crackers. After lunch, i told him to nap in school while i go home for housework. He said ok.

Went to pick him up at 530pm.. he was munching his evening tea break. His teacher said he can really eat.. omg!

Back home, he looks abit unwell.. i thought he probrably had too much so continue to shower and change him for next round, Office X'mas Party. Took cab to office and who knows, he got crouchy and clingy.. and abit feverish... Sian.. he didnt even want to join the other children who are playing happily outside. He only want to sit on my desk and watch his barney or chugginton show.. Then i called hubby and ask if he knocking off and can fetch him to the doc.. So went to the doc near mum's place. What a sick X'mas!

Met up with the girls last night for our yearly X'mas dinner.

As usual, i was late.. Heavy jam to Orchard.. and also need to call Amy to ask for directions!

The girls already started the dinner since it was Japanese Buffet. So as usual, lots of yakking and catching up over dinner.. and also time flies fast..

It was certainly a great meet up with lots of never ending talks.. with gift exchangings..

Sorry for the late post..

I know I have been disappearing for the longest time... Shall start afresh from here.

First, wishing Little Zayden, Happy 1st Birthday. Was invited to his birthday party @ With a Pinch of Salt located at 297 Tanjong Katong Rd. Met up with Peng and Veron at Paya Lebar MRT and i was late.. thanks to Ryan as he didnt want to wake up from his nap.

We took a bus from the station and alighted at the 4th stops and walk up.. Seems to be a nice and cosy place but soon as the guests came in one by one.. it became overcrowded.. Well.. MT mentioned it's a KIDS PARTY.. hahaha..

I can say Ryan enjoyed himself despite not mingling with the kids there.. He did claimed that the place is noisy too.. but i am glad that he can describe the place and the atmosphere to his daddy when HC came and pick us up.

Unexpected News

I have been neglecting my blog since Sept 17...

By right today shall be my last day with Rigel.. but due to some unforeseen circumstances... I decided to stay on and give up the other offer.

Many of you may ask why... I have to choose between 2 and ultimately the best offer for myself.

To be honest, i am expecting my second baby now... I found out 2 weeks ago and was already in a dilemma then. I wrote an email to my new boss to pre-alert him and he called me the very night and wanted to meet up for a face to face talk. I agreed.

On the other hand, my close colleagues knew about my issue too... they kept persuading me to stay on since situation had changed.. My big boss knew about it and was ok for me to stay on despite i had handed in the letter. So now, i am left with the final decision.

Met up with the other boss last Thursday and have a talk. Though i have pre alert him prior to my interview about family planning. He had no issues too. Being a parent himself. He welcome the idea. I was hopeful. We went straight to the point and yes... He mentioned due to the situation had changed, he; for now cant offer a perm position for me. Instead he will offer me a contract position, renewable every 3 months, no staff benefits. With this... i really had to think hard.. I went back and starting to think of all pros and cons and also discuss with HC too.. He didnt like the idea of me travelling and walking in to a distance.. So he was totally hands up for me to stay put in Rigel. With proper thinking, i decided to stay on and rejected the offer over at the new place.

For now, i can only be thankful to my current boss.

Ready to Move On...

Today i have finally signed on my appointment letter with my new employer.

Will be starting my new job on the 11th Oct 2010. Looking forward to the new experiences that lies ahead for me. Hopefully it can bring me to greater heights...

Many will be curious on why i decided to move on since i am in my comfort and flexible zone. I am perfectly fine with my colleagues and seriously.. i like them alot.. but i am just disappointed with the management. Sad to say.. i have always been a "stale" bread to my current company. Is it wrong to be low profile? I swear i have given my best effort to them but what do i get in the end? Nothing and nothing..

Perhaps i have also been quite inbalance.. Weeks ago, we hired a new staff to my dept.. her designation OF Executive. While i slog out to be OF Assistant. Our education level is comparable. She is a Dip holder while me too.. but why is she starting off as executive????? this i cant understand.. Anyway.. it's all over. 4 words to describe 心灰意冷.

Ryan's first visit to the dentist and library on 07.08.10

Booked an appointed with the dentist on Sat (07.08.10) for myself and Ryan. It's time to expose him to the dentist and i noticed he hasnt been brushing his teeth well.

So weeks before the appt, i have been brain-washing him abt the visit to the dentist.. As usual, Ryan will say ok, can let doc clean and count his teeth.. The day came and i ask who will go see dentist first.. he said he wanted to be first.. Even right up to the time when the missy asked who wants to be first.. He will say: "Ryan first". Send him in.. he chicken out.. Expected!!! So i went ahead first and he sat with me on the dental chair. He kinda witness everything that Dr.Beng did for me.. and when i rinse my mouth, he wanted to do it too.. haa.
Finally i was done with my cleaning.. Managed to coax him up on the dental chair and open his mouth for the dentist to check and count his teeth.. He finally did and asked his he could rinse his mouth. Overall, good experience for him though, no cavities.. will try again next time when HC is due for his check up.. hahahaa..

Next destination, library. I have never brought him to a library before cos i alwasy feel he doesnt know how to behave and may talk very loudly.. Well, since i am there, just brought him in and warned him that he cannot talk loudly inside. Bishan Public Library is good. Their children section is on the basement level. Naturally kids will be kids.. but they obey the rules and not much noise was heard.. Ryan had fun walking around the shelves choosing his books and we sat down to read.. It has been ages since i last step into a library and i borrow a book also.

After library, we had lunch and headed to tampines and then home sweet home..

Our First Movie after birth of Ryan

Went for our very first movie after the birth of our son after 3 years..

Booked tickets online @ Cathy @ AMK Hub for 940pm show. Sent Ryan over to mum place at about 4plus. Went to RC to look for mum as she was busy with her work for the national day carnival. After that i went to HC's work place to look for him. Had dinner then off we went to AMK Hub. Window-shop then bought pop corns and drinks and waited for them to open up the cinema.

Show for the night: Old Cow eat tender grass.. Funny show but doesnt have a "good" ending.. So will just rate the show as average.

After that we went home cos HC still have to work the next day..

My Encounter with HFMD

It was definately a experience for me. Ryan started to have fever and complain of throat pain. I did not think so much thought could be due to the bad weather recently.

He didnt get better so brought him to his PD and he had been diagnose with HFMD.. A few spots on his palms and feet.. ulcers inside his throat.. I knew he is feeling very terrible..

So i quickly went to stock up juices, milk, ice-cream etc.. as i know we will be confine to home for the next 5-7 days. Over the weekend, he got so bored and keep wanting to go out but we cant so had to explain to him and bought him a barney CD to entertain him.

On Monday, 12.07.10, took half day to go home having intention to look after him.. Who knows i dun feel too good either.. So quickly took a shower and went to bed.. hopping that i will be ok after a nap.. but i didnt. My temp keep rising.. So drag myself up and went to the doc.. Most clinics were closed but managed to find Raffles Medical still open.. so went in and took a Q.

Told the doc about my case as i am caring for my son.. So doc said i maybe infected and ask me to watch as my throat was hurting badly. My fever come and go.. and so i was given 3 days of MC.. Stayed home with Ryan looking after him and myself.. I told him i was sick.. he also sayang me.. hahaha.. sweet boy right.. But i am way too tired to do anything..

Hope this wont happen again.. It's torture for me and him..

Finally Ryan has recovered and officially went back to school on last friday. He didnt want to go back and claimed that he had stomach pain while walking that flight of stairs linking to his school.
Thus i had to promised him a cup of bubble tea when i fetch him later after my work.

Been missing out of actitvies lately cos of the mcs taken by son and hubby. Work has been hectic too. Been staying back at work frequently of the increase workload though i had a new colleague that came in towards end of May.

Guess i will just given a recent update. We have officially sold off our Honda Stream yesterday. The car joined us on 23rd Dec 09 and will be leaving us this coming monday 21st Jun 10.
Hubby and I had gone through a long consideration before coming to this. As some of my close friends know that my flat has been taking a long toil on me. My cpf is running dry and we cant always dig into our savings to mend the holes. So we have to give up the car in order to substain the house for at least the next 6 months. Meanwhile, hubby will be driving a van back.. Hopefully with the departure of our car, we can have some savings and also substain the holes of the housing loan.

Since last week, Ryan has been sick. Thus, he has been quite clingly to me.

Last week monday, he complain of stomach pain so brought him to GP. Doc say could be some viral infection. It didnt help so Tue he was complaining on pain again till he curled up like a prawn. So brought him to Dr. Zainal. Diagnose with stomach flu so for the next few days.. no school for him. He got better over the weekend; recovered and went to school on monday..

Went to pick him up from school on Tue, teacher informed that he is running a temp. Was surprised cos he was ok throughout the whole day. So wed took half day to bring him to doc. Chinese doc say his body heat too hot thus causing him to have discomfort. All he need to do is to poo out all those toxic he will be better. Fever temp come up and down.. Mil keep asking me to send him to KKH.

Ultimately, i went. Spent almost $100 there. Doc also say is stomach flu. So given medication. Just have to watch him. For me, i have been quite restless too.. Too tired. Big one leg pain, small one stomach pain.

Wonder if i am the one down.. what will happen??

Joint LTH's Excursion to Hippo River Cruise & Singapore Flyers

On Friday,21st May, i was on "MC".. Didnt wanted to waste my annual leave so decided to get MC for Ryan's excursion.

Woke up at 630am to prepare myself and Ryan's belonging. Master Kuik woke up @ 8am and took his milk. Headed to school @9am. For this trip, i am surprised that some of ryan's classmates didnt come along. The bus came @920am and off we went to the 1st destination; Clarke Quay.

We took some pics upon arrival and the kids were simply excited. We took a slow walk to the jetty for the cruise. The kids were asked to line up to put on their life jacket. Ryan was cooperative enough.

Then we proceed on to the boat. They were so excited.. Didnt take much pics cos i had to sit down with him.. the ride took us about 30min to the other end of the river bank. We alighted at the Flyer. Again took some pics and had 15mins F&E time. So brought Ryan to the loo and change his diaper and to 7-11.. He requested for sweets..

We gathered at 1145am and headed for the flyer ride. Our capsule comprises for N1 and tods.. so we had a good time enjoying the scenery and with the kids walking about in the capsule. After the 30min ride, we headed to Popoyes for our lunch. Thumbs up but still prefer Arnolds chicken...

After our lunch, we had a parental talk. Quite enriching. After the talk, we went to look for our kids.. They were playing and sweating away.. and amazingly, they are still awake.. haa..

By the time we went to the lobby to wait for the bus.. most of them are tired.. Ryan slept during the bus ride.. Even when his teacher shouted "wakey wakey", he wasnt even awake by it.

After we touched down, i carry this sleepy boy home straight. Reached home, shower him.. he began to make noise.. i know he is getting cranky.. Tired.. so quickly dress him up and he slept again.. till 9plus.. woke up for his milk and head off to his lala land again.

Had a good sunday spent with HC and Ryan...

Early morning made them breakfast then start to do housework..

After that sent Mil and neighbour to Yishun Safra for Mother's Day Lunch. After that we went back home to rest. Both Ryan and HC had a nap before heading out to Pasir Ris beach for sand play.

Managed to take some pics and guess what?? We found lots of ants... we quickly grab Ryan and run.. Hahaha...

Looks like i have "disappeared" from blogging for quite awhile.

Been busy with work.. Never ending.. but of course, if we were to finish our work, we will be jobless soon..

Recently loads of hiccups at work.. shipment not being able to arrive on time, goods not being able to deliver to my customers smoothly. Feeling so frustrated at times... i know some things are not within my control.. as much as i like to help.. but i have a limit to certain things.

As for family issues... as usual.. problems created by mil and it's never ending. All her daughters can say is their mum is very extraordinary.. and what we can do is to see her with open heart. i dunno how long more can i be open. sigh.. dun want to talk abt her.. even now HC is upset with her and not on talking terms.

I just hope the rainbow will surface after the stormy weather..

It's Ryan's 3rd bday today!

Happy Birthday my little precious boy... time flies.. Took leave from work as i had arranged with his school for his birthday celebration.

Sent him to school in the morning and met up with Tjio @ Ya Kun for breakfast to settle some of the insurance stuff. After that went to compass point to buy him his birthday gift.. Hr has always love cars...

Went to school around 315pm.. Just nice the kids woke up.. and when they saw the cake... everyone was like WOW... Yup, i had ordered McQueen Car for Ryan. He like it so much.. So together with his class mates and teachers,everyone sang him bday song.. He was smiling all the while..

While the kids had cakes, i chatted with Cindy. She shared with me about how kids love birthday parties and cakes.. I could tell.. as some of them went for more servings. :)

This year we didnt have any big celebrations for Ryan.. Just a simple fare.. Simple and warm..

Once again, Happy Birthday Ryan.. May your grow up well with enriching wisdom and good health.

Woke up at 630am to prepare myself and pack Ryan's bag. Master Kuik woke up at 8am.. Brush his teeth, scrap his tongue and gave him a bottle of milk before heading to school.

Reached his school around 9am. Hang around awhile before the kids assemble at the front.

Hubby is never a surprise or romantic person. Today he really surprise me!! He actually order a bouquet of flowers and have it sent to my office.. I was shocked loh... and damn pai seh too..

Today marks the 6th day of the CNY. Time flies and one week just passed. Last friday, my company was closed for CNY... now we have to resume operations on the 22nd Feb!

Reached work place @ 0830am. Most of the colleagues came back but some of them are still in M'sia.. and my Vera still in Indonesia! Bored without my kakis... Lucky still got Pearly, Vivi, Vicky, Ah tam and perolyn.. haha..

Lion dance troupe came in @11am... Took them almost an hour to finish the whole "cai qing". Hopefully we will HUAT big... after the lion dance, we proceed to QianXi Restaurant @ Paya Lebar for lunch. Took Perolyn's car there.. and we are among the first to reach there.

Food were served soon after.. Thumbs up for the yummy food.. Wines and of course good entertainment by our consultant, overseas colleague and local colleagues.. This year we took 2 hours to complete our CNY lunch.. hahaha.. after that, proceed to Boss house for gambling sessions and dinner buffet!

Me and Pearly left at 5pm, took a ride from June as need to pick up Cheng..

Well that sums up my day for today!

2nd day of the new year and also the above title says it all...

More visitings later.. One stop to meet all.. cant wait to see my cousins.. a yearly gathering...

This year we are meeting up at 3rd aunt's place which is @ woodlands. After which, we will proceed to the Zoo... Ryan and me will gain free entry as he is under 3 and it's my Bday.. hahaha

Reached the zoo around 4pm and started touring around with a map.. We, adults are happily looking at the animals while master Ryan.. couldnt care less.. Always want to be carry.. duhz...
Until we stopped by a cart selling drinks and snacks.. he immediately jump up and choose the drinks.. Wow.. Coke.. was his energy drink.. he was so excited and active again.. haa..

We wrap up our walk cos all of us were tired.. So we send my parents home and headed home too.. Had maggie noodles for dinner and shower.. then went straight back to our room and watch tv before snoozing off!

First of all, like to wish Amy happy birthday... Hope she is enjoying herself with her darling for a short getaway.

Second very unhappy issue. I actually blew my top today at office... The anger was so huge till i actually drop my tears! Can imagine the impact???

When i went to work this morning, i actually work non stop since 830am... till 330pm.. whenever i wanted to go out for lunch, there will be customers walking in to look for me.. Damn... the finally straw came when i tried to go out the second time for lunch, another customer came. I slam the papers on my table and took the delivery order and headed the lift and slam on the button.

So, ultimately, i was the one who hurt myself.. and i actually drops my tears... my colleagues were shocked to see my behaviour for the moment... anyway, too hungry, order Mac for lunch and had my lunch at 4plus..

After that, i left the office.. of course with given permission by my head and HR.. HC came and pick me and we headed off for shopping. Went to sheng shiong buy beers and gaint for CNY shopping.. Spend $200 and have the grocies delivered to my home.. Cool right?

Hi all, finally back to blogger.. Was telling my bffs earlier that i should clear the webs on my blog.

The last post was in 19th Jan.. After which i have been soooo busy cos colleague went on long leave - 2 weeks to New Zealand to settle some personal issue for her deceased bf. She will be back on Monday but leaving on wed to her hometown in KL.. Aiyaya.. busy again..

Today met up with Bffs and their partners for dinner at Kovan Fish Head Steamboat. The boss for tonight dinner is Towkay Liek.. Thanks Towkay Liek and Towkay Neo!!! I guess it also a pre-advance gathering for Amy's birthday and her darling is back to Sg... So it's a meet up session for us.. get to know him session for me.. hehehe..

Was really busy since the year started and time flies... we are approaching into the month of Feb.. and CNY is next on the list.

Was home the whole day. To clear the house, sweep, mop, brew some tonic for hubby and Ryan. Took me about 3 hours to settle the chores before i proceed to upstairs to clear my room.
Managed to clear out 2 big stacks of clothes with old bed sheets. I think there will be more cos need to ask Hubby to see which of his clothes he doesnt want.

Mil will be back from her holiday today! Peace and cleaniness is coming to an end after 1 week.

*Honestly, i love the fact that she is not home. At least, my house is clean.. i dont meed to mop every alternate days. My parents can come up for dinner which they did when she was not home...

Hubby went back to work.. Info by him is that, he will need to leave out by 6am every morning for the morning trip. Poor him. Can see that he is very tired especially the eyes.. Going to rest well during his off period!

Dad and mum came over and pick me since hubby is off to work earlier.. Went Serangoon to gu-ma fruits stall.. Brought quite a few fruits... then went back to parents place to rest awhile.. before heading out again. Dad promised to bring Ryan out for shopping. In the end. got him a car.. Then went to the newly openly Audio House @ Bendemmeer.. lots of people. In the end, just go one round and off we drove home.

Had dinner at Rivervale Plaza as mum need to buy those prayer stuff for cny. i got some nice red packets too..

Early morning, went Changi Airport to send off a China colleague. She will be heading back to Ningbo to continue her job as accounts there. Time passes quickly.

Went back office to clear some work as the IR projects are booming.. Need to handover those sensors and valves over for their opening soon. Busy Busy Busy!

Went to BB Zayden's bb shower party @ Singtel Com centre. He has such an angelic face.. Congrats Michelle and Darryl!!!

Year 2009 flashes through... and here come Year 2010

The brand new year has started.. into its day 2 now..

I didnt get to start the Day 1 right as i didnt feel well on the last day of the year.. Damn!! After meeting a friend for dinner at hougang mall, i went home, pop 2 panadols and lie flat on the sofa while waiting for hubby to come home. So my new year's eve ended by sleeping at 1030pm... boring right???

Next HOT Topic: NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS!!!

Most people will have the new year resolutions.. eg: keep fit, earn more $$, etc... then again, will all these resolutions be fulfilled in one's agenda?? No one knows.. cos u never know what will happen the very next day..

Still, whether the resolutions come true, i still have a few in mind. Top on the list.. to have PEACE... those 三姑六婆, please get away from me. i had enough of all these.. Less involvement, less conflict! My belief for now!

For now.. to live each day happily.. Wishing all my family, Bestest friends and friends.. good health and peace always..

Seriously this is my first time encountering such situations.. To be honest, i rather dun celebrate at all.. No sense of unity as a company.

Still, i am enjoyed myself with my gang. In the end, i am up in the 5th level joining my gang. By the time i went downstairs, the food were all wipe out. Everything went clean. *we were feeding a bunch of china ppl*

Laughters, photo takings filled the room. i like it loh.. Enjoyed the food, enjoyed the people...

Ryan's School X'mas Celebration

Was on half day leave this morning. Woke up early at 6am to prepare fruit salad for Ryan's school potluck.

Had the apples, honeydew, cucumber, kiwi, mini tomatoes cut into cubes and put them into a container and add salad sauce.. then viola!

Send Ryan to school at 9am.. then went home to shower again before heading back to the centre as their mini celebration is starting at 10am.

Reached centre at 10:05am.. the kids are already singing their hearts out with X'mas songs.. They really had fun.. played games and parents are also involved in the musical chairs games..

When it's time for food.. the kids really love it. They Q and went to toilet to wash hands and sit at their table waiting eagerly for the food to be served.

I left the centre at 1215pm.. HC came and pick me up as he wants to go home for a shower before collecting his new car.. Yes, u heard me.. his new baby. So.. today we are bidding goodbye to our 15mths old Mitsubishi Lancer Ex and say Hello to our Honda Stream.

Like i said before.. when a guy wants something, there will be always a point to prove his right to get his wants.. He ultimately got what he wanted.. I hope he wont change it so soon... Our pocket hurts!!

Left Fion's place at 415pm.. Went to grab a bite at Mac.. then headed home.. Tired.. Reached home Ryan slept immediately... I am tired too..

2nd Interview Invitation from Crocs...

I should have received the call from Crocs if everything went on smoothly.

I guess i didnt perform too badly cos based on my experiences and qualifications, think the only thing i lose out will be my time.. as we have to serve the notice... and i supposed they cant wait too long.

Crocs -OF will be a newly formed dept with 6 people. Headed by Ms Lena Ang, with 4 OF execs and 1 OF Assistant.

The benefits are rather the same as Rigel.. The difference in annual leave with extra 2 days, confirm and guarantee 13th month pay, employee and company performance bonus. One good thing about dress code.. they can dress down and wear Crocs to work. Each employee will be given 2 pairs of crocs (FOC).. and will get to enjoy the staff purchase at very good price.

If i am not given the opportunity, i am still glad that i was given a 2nd chance for interview.

I think i need to blog this out if not i will suffocate. I am damn pissed off!!!!

Why on earth you need to bring Ryan out every now and then?? U claimed that you didnt cooked much dishes so went out to but some vegs. Is that a need to do so? Simple fare is good enough.. I am not particular about food.

When Ryan came home.. he blurted out: " i find jie jie". I just smiled.. Then you suddenly shouted saying the "chou chou" is lost! I asked why did you bring the pillow out, u again claimed that afraid my son will make noise so brought his pillow along? Is that a need to???

Told her i will go search for the pillow. Asked if u have gone to find your precious princess.. U said NO. So i left the house walking aimlessly in search of Ryan's pillow. His first pillow that my mum bought for him since birth.. He has been carrying since birth not allowing going to sleep without the pillow. Thanks to your CARELESSNESS!!! U made 3 calls to me.. which i only took 1 of it.. U told me the sky is dark and ask me to go home when you will go out and look for it. For what? It's gone means gone.. No matter what you find, will not be the same again. The hygenie purpose is one bad point!

Told my mum about it. Will need her to do another one for Ryan. Though it will never be the same again...

The DAY finally arrived... My youngest SIL's much awaited wedding.

The day started early. As early as 5plus, the jie meis group started streaming in one by one. I woke up at 630am... quickly prepare myself then woke my monster. He had a task to do. Important task.. to open the car door for his 姑丈. dig Ryan up at 645am.. wash and clean him and fed him milk. By 7am, we are all up and ready waiting for the groom's arrival.

715am, the honking of the bridal car is here.. So it's work for Ryan.. He was holding 2 super big oranges. I brought him down.. he very cute.. and i help him to open after which he pass the two oranges to his 姑丈. After which i handed him 2 pieces of paper.. instructions to him by the sisters..

After which i brought Ryan up while the gate crashing starts.. I tell you.. i swear.. they are rough. They really keep holding my gate.. the whole game lasted for almost 1/2hr.. the groom finally got in..

First of all, like to wish my nephew Vash, Happy Birthday. Big boy liao, going to primary 1 next year... please learn to behave well and study hard.

My day started early this morning as hubby need to start work early.. He left the house @530am. His usual routine after shower, put on his clothes then kiss his baby.. He felt warm.. so woke me up. Immediately took his temperature. Thermometer shows 37.8. Goodness.. though is not seriously hot.. but i dun want to take any chance.. So took a handkerchief and sponge him... then i quickly went to prepare myself also. He woke up at abt 7am.. he wanted water.. so gave him his bottle.. He drank quite alot.. By the time i am going to work, his fever subsided.. I decided to keep him home for 1 day. Let him have good rest.. Made frequent calls home to spot check on him.

His class teacher, Tr Ong called too to find out why he was absent from school. Very nice of her right? In fact, i wanted to call and inform the school but was too busy... Anyway, thanks Tr Ong for your concern.

I flew home immediately after work. Mil needs to go attend temple dinner. Went NTUC before going back.. Bought some food for Ryan.. This greedy boy will always run towards the gate when i am home eagerly waiting for my plastic bag. Haha..

Oh, my crocs for Ryan arrived. Haa.. must control spending.. X'mas coming.. Next CNY will be on the way!!

Little Tree House's Graduation cum Year End Concert

The day had finally arrived. Today woke up early and prepared Ryan as he needs to be in school by 0830am. Left the house at 8am and send him to school before coming back home to bring mil along to the Tampines East community club to watch Ryan perform.

While walking to the centre, Ryan gave me a hug, kiss me and say bye bye mummy. This warms my heart. My boy has grown.. from a baby to a toddler who understand simple instructions with basic manners.

I left the centre after seeing him went in with his teachers. Back home, prepared and waited for mil's bedsheet to be washed. Left house @ 915am. Reached TECC @ 945am. Signed in and went inside for a parental talk organised by Morning Star. The talk lasted for an hour or so. I feel that the talk was very encouraging and motivational in giving knowledge of bonding between parents and kids.

Concert officially starts @ 1145am. Managed to took some nice pics. i didnt managed to capture nice pics on Ryan part.. cos i was sitting far behind and it's noy easy to move to the front to take..

They kids had done a very good job. They didnt cry as to compare with the toddlers from Ubi branch. They perform well.. when it was Ryan's class turn to perform.. the cuties came out in bear costume.. I am so proud of him. he has done well.. Well done Ryan, well done babies..

Hubby not working today.. but he woke up super early saying hungry.. So woke all if us up and mil too.. and decided to have prata for breakfast. Reached Jalan Kayu @ 830am.. ordered 3 egg pratas and 3 "kosong" plus 1 chicken murtabark. MIL commented that it's not nice.. hubby said the pratas were quite cold went served. Then drove to Sengkang swimming complex thought can see the pool but quite alot of cars and hubby didnt know that the pool was in house.. hahaha.. so we drove home and continue with our sleep.

Woke up at 1130am to prepare. Meeting my parents for lunch. Drove over to pick them and headed to J8 Din tai Fung. Order the fried rice, dou miao, bitter gourd pork rib soup, xiao long bao and siew mai. spend $97 plus.. Hubby said quite expensive and portion not big.. but food still ok. Shop around for awhile then send parents home.

Headed home but no carpark, so drove out to amk to find weiliang. While hubby chit chatting, i went to do my eyebrows.. haa...

Now is really home sweet home. Ryan practically didnt nap in the noon so he was throwing trantrums during dinner.. He still managed to take his dinner in his way then daddy had to shower him after that. haa.. He started getting cranky.. fussing over nothing, keep crying.. so carry him and pat him to sleep. He fell asleep on my chest... within mins.. haa.

Lastly, Happy 3rd Birthday to Darius.. (son of BFF Veron)

Was not on duty this weekend.. thus able to sleep till slightly later than usual.

Ryan has been complaining about his pain pain since 1 week ago so decided to bring him see 铁打医师 in the morning. Since no appointment made.. had to reach earlier to jump queue. Spend about half an hour inside for ryan's rubbing. This boy is good enough to sit still and roll up his jeans to let the doc massage his leg and there after, bandage up. Paid $25 for it. Expensive anot??

Next destination, went to tampines to see chinese doc to take medication for his cough, flu and heat.. to standby.. these few days the weather are so unpredictable. After which, went to swensen for lunch with Huiling. Then shop awhile before heading back to mum place. Ryan slept thru the bus journey.

Stayed till 8 plus before hubby came and pick us after work..

Finally friday of the week. Been counting down since tue as i am starting to get flu and cough.. Have been self medicating and thank goodness i still managed to "tong" all the way.

Been busy at work and Pearly is finally back to work after her one week long holiday!!

Today we had a small mini birthday celebration for Perolyn. Brian bought a cake from Pinegarden while Jerome and i went to get her the gift from Soo Kee. She was surprise!!

The terrorist in the making.

At 2 years 7 months.. i consider him as a very "jing ling" baby. He knows how to talk to you in simple sentence, excuse me, please, can i, etc... Knows how to count from 1-10 in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and Malay.

Recently he got very naughty.. he will throw temper and cry when he doesnt get the things he wants. He say "ANGRY", " I DON'T WANT YOU" "GO AWAY".

Just wondering where did he learn all these from!!! *scratch head*

Parent Teacher Meeting @ LTH

This morning before i set off to work, i went to Ryan's school for PTM. I took the first slot as i need to work. So reached the school at 845am. Abit kiasu.. hehe

Met up with Ryan's class teachers, Tr Ong and 林老师. The feedback that both teachers gave were that he is an independent, smiley boy.. good with numbers, rythme and music.. he can recite 1-10 using english, chinese, cantonese, hokkien and malay. When he gets to excited, his dance moves will get haywired.. haa...

One bad point about him that Tr Ong commented that there is one particular yellow car which he likes alot. He wont share if he is being asked to.. He will say NO... hmmm... so the teachers had to tell him to share so that other kids can to play... but usually is like tomorrow that the kids can get to play!

Overall, feedback, i am quite happy!

On wed, i was on leave to attend Mil's mum 3rd year death anniversary rituals. They called it "GONG TECK".

We left the house at 730am to pick BIL up and headed to SK for breakfast. After which we zoom down to Jalan Kayu, seletar farmway west 6. The rituals started at 815am.. and ended toward 1130pm.. There were intervals in between the sessions.

There was one session where the 'sai gong' had to throw things for us to catch.. There are stuffs like bun, fruits, peanuts, sweets, cigerattes and coins.. We managed to got hold of 70 cents and some sweets to eat "heng heng" and one big apple.. I didnt managed to catch hold of the apple whe it came flying towards me.. IT HIT MY FOREHEAD!!!

So with that apple hitting, i bought numbers.. Share with my bestest friend.. Hopefully, it's tonight.. HUAT AH!!!

Took childcare leave today. Little Tree House organise an school outing for the kids and parents are invited to join.

We reached the school at 845am. The kids were singing the national anthem. Ryan is mingling well with his classmates.. as for me, i waited outside while the teachers are getting the kids ready.

Weather started out so fine with class play and follow by the older kids performing the mandarin speech & drama. Not too long, the rain came.. with thunderstorm and heavy droplets.. The kids quickly put on their rain coats and usher into the big shelter. The rain continue to pour heavily. So one by one, we carry the kids to the burger king for shelter and let them have their lunch.

Overall, it was an good outing.

Last night met up with the girls for dinner at Taka , Tampopo Jap Restaurant. A occassion to celebrate for our last single lady in the group. She will be MRS LICK on 11 Nov.

After work took bus No 5 there walk quite a distance.. Ha.. managed to get my way there not being late this round.. hehe..

Had a good time catching up and last night topic was on giving birth, hospital charges, childcare centre.. Oh my.. there are more for you to learn.. Mrs Lick!!!

Once again the occassion of the year is here.. Mil's bday.

This year to in order to cater everyone's schedule, we decided to go for lunch instead of the usual dinner affair. Lunch was held at Punggol Marina Country Club.

Went to Sakura Grilled Charcoal and Shabu shabu... Weather was sooo hot that Ryan was sweating like mad.. in fact, not just Ryan, everyone was perspiring!!! Didnt take much pics..

Was watching the a show from channel 8 just now，生命实录 (Life Watch)

It was indeed a good show. I have followed since the very first epidsode. The first episode was on my friend's hubby. He had brain tumour.

Like me, she was my primary school mate. Had a young son and a very bright future ahead. He fight the battle bravely and won the war.. When i saw their story, i immediately contacted them via facebook! Thank god the ordeal was over and wish them luck!

In this last episode, it was about 1 patient facing breast cancer and parents with premature babies.

Upon watching the show, i reminisce about the process of having Ryan out of me. I begin to count my lucky stars on how fortunate i have Ryan as a healthy baby!

My heart goes out to the little babies who are fighting their lives.. Be Strong and may all luck be with you little fellows always...

Yday was FIL's 3rd year death anniversary. Actually took a day off to look after Ryan, send him to school, back home pray then go for my facial. But reality hurts.. programme changed.

Woke up at around 830am.. touched Ryan, felt feverish so quickly took his temp. Measuring 38.2!! Alamak... sian leh.. Quickly ask hubby to wake up and bring him to the doc.

Back home, fed him medication and he look quite ok. Fever still comes and goes..

As for me, had to go back to work in the afternoon as colleague took urgent leave. So my dept cannot be in zero operations.. Had to rush back to office..

Mil not being understanding.. told me not to go back to office since Ryan is sick. Explained to her on why i need to go back to office but she doesnt seem to understand and still made remarks behind my back.. *&*(&$#*(&$@ WTF!!!

Though at work, my heart was home with Ryan. Baby, you must get well soon... Dun keep falling sick...

Busy Thursday... but was definetly looking forward to it. Had a dinner appt with Amy. Arranged to meet up at J8 @ 645pm. I was there slightly earlier.. but she was not late either.. hehe..

Met up and suggested Aijisen for dinner... It was a great catch up since Mar.. the date we had.. just the two of us.. haha.. I began to realise how talkative i was.. It's been a through catch up and of couse there will be more...

It's all started with a minor cough on Tue night. Wed morning went to see doc. Thinking to get some medication to surpress the cough.. God knows.. i become "dumb" the very next day.

I literally became very talkative when i cant even speak and when i can... i am so quiet... Haiz..

Had a great weekend though good times always flies...

Fri (07/08/09) - Mum went to pick up Ryan from school and went back home after that as i had to work on the next day. Didnt want mil to look after cos i know now she always have her programme. So i had settled Ryan; it's my personal time.. haaa.. after work.. no plans.. so jio colleagues go eat.. also don't know what to eat.. In the end we landed to Sizzler at Toa Payoh. Nice dinner with Shirly and Bee Lee. Shirly will be leaving Rigel end of this coming week. Like to wish her all the best!!! Keep in touch girl!

Sat (08/08/09) - Work for half day... wanted to go over mum's place to pick Ryan but colleague smsed me.. asked if want lunch together.. ok loh.. waited for her nearby workplace and she came and pick me up.. Headed off aimlessly.. till she thought of Katong laksa.. Eat there.. then those aunties came with their electronic handheld.. wah lau.. she yelled man!!! haa.. rush to the vehicle.. Save the $70 ... After lunch, she sent me back to my mum place.. Thanks Perolyn!!

Sun (09/08/09) - Happy 44th Birthday Singapore... I am proud to be a Singaporean!!!
Morning hubby sent me and son to mum's place while he went into JB with his friend.
He came back and pick me around 4plus and off we headed home.. He got a electronic plane back for Ryan.. but.. before Ryan can lay his hands on it.. it's almost gone case... Thanks to his cousins who came back for dinner.. haa.. All of us stayed home and enjoyed the parade on the TV.. Ryan likes it too.. he was dancing all the way with the songs..

Think my brains went screw loose somewhere yesterday...

After work, went to Hougang Mall to shop for clothes... for this coming sat wedding dinner. Went Iora, Ice Lemon Tee and final A'Drey... Managed to try on some nice clothes in A'Drey... and thinking just to buy one pcs instead.. cos hardly got the chance to wear such dress.. as most of my friends know that i am not a dress person...

So spend $149 on 2 dresses.. I cant imagine i did that kind of spending... and eventually i am member with them. Anyone need to shop in A'Drey, can get the card from me.

So after Saturday's dinner, i think my dress can sit inside my wardrobe for quite awhile...

On wednesday, office had a little celebration for Leng Siew. It's her bday. Had order a cake and chicken pies for tea...

As usual, took HC's car over to mum's place in the morning. Went to kallang bahru for breakfast then headed to NTUC to get some grocies.

Today is Dad's bday... As well as Father's day. Got dad a birthday cake.. Ryan was extremely happy. I think he enjoys blowing candles and eating cakes.. .

Happy Birthday Pearly... Had a mini celebration for her and Bee Lee. Ordered Old Chang Kee catering mini buffet. Food not bad.. the dry spicy laksa is nice.

It started with a little gag on Wed (03.06.09) wee hours. Ryan sat up and starting making those vomitting sound; nothing came out... shortly, he threw out those phelgm. After that he was ok.. went back to his lala land.

Thursday morning, he was perfectly fine.. so sent him to school as usual. Teacher Ong called at 1plus saying that he is running a temperature. Aiyo.. sian man... So called mil to go school and pick him up.

Went home and brought him to see Dr. Zainal. Lucky Q was short.. So given him some medication and was told that could be viral infection. *sian* So gave him medication as soon as we got back and made him sleep.. Fever didnt went off and went up to 39.9.. So quickly told hubby and sent him to KKH a&e at 4am. As usual, Doc said viral infection.. not need to admit him. Gave him a dose of medication and waited before going home. Reached home at 6 am.. Tired... Slept awhile before hubby went to work.. while i took a day off as "koala bear" refused to get off me.. Had to carry him all day except he sleep. Damn grouchy baby..

Sat i went back to work.. he was doing fine.. for the whole day.. in fact temperature maintained normal.. so after work brought him to Eu Yan Sang @ Rivervale. Wanted him to take chinese medicine to heal his cold.. Then brought him to Hougang Mall to buy some stuff before going home.

Sun- His temperature went up again.. For the whole day he was whining so much that i could suffer from breakdown.. The princess and family came.. the kids were here, but he didnt even wanted to play with them.. can u all tell how serious he was.. Fever monster came up and down... temp didnt go down at all.. Decided to stuff a voltaren inside his ass... within 5 mins.. he poo... everything all wasted!!! Fever shoot up as high as 39.6.. So HC said go KK again.. See whether can admit him anot..

Reached KK at 10plus in the evening.. The Q was terrible.. Lots of sick kids around.. Poor kiddos.. We Q and made payment and was told to go Rm 11.. no need to wait.. So went there straight and waited for the docs and nurses to attend to us.
Doc suggested that we go a X-Ray and Blood test. Took X-ray.. had to strip him and made him lie down etc.. was never easy.. haha.. waited for his film.. then went back to the cubicle and take blood test. Waited an hour plus for the result then see doc.. Senior doc came along too.. She did some interaction with Ryan and he responed well.. So doc say no need to admin. Results shows.. blood test normal.. chest x-ray.. slight spots as some phelgm inside.. So given antibiotics and some other medication. After that go home.. Reached home already 2am!! Faint!!!

Mon- on leave again.. Still grouchy.. Can see that he is very tired.. want to sleep yet cant sleep due to cough.. I wished i could be the one to fall sick.. haha.. daddy also want to have a share of it too. Afternoon brought him go Tampines see chinese doc.. Didnt need to wait long.. Diagonsis: overheat.. cough, flu and came this big attack. Gave him medication in powder form for 3 days.. Reached home immediately fed him the dosage.. Fever went down.. Cough also got better.. Miracle!!!

Throughout the night.. there were still slight cough.. but fever didnt come back.. Thank god!!!

Tue- here i am updating my blog at work. I came late today as thinking to see how he fare today.. Since he is doing fine, i thought i should come and work and dun waste leave.. He cried like mad.. refused to let me go.. Promised him that i will be home early.. Get well soon Baby!!!

MIL ON HOLIDAY... FROM 28-31 May 09

The day that i had been waiting for.... finally came...

She set off early in the morning at 8plus... Bing's hubby, BP came and send them to the airport. Me and Ryan just accompanied them down to say bye.. hahaa...

After we went up to my house, tidy up Ryan and send him to school. Reached school, little fella went in without saying goodbye to me.. guess.. he might have forgotten about me already.. hahaa.. After which i headed to work. Took an hour off my usual KO time early to go home and pick Ryan up. That's the first time he stayed in school till 6pm.

Same evening, it was my sis bday. Order pizza for her, sil and bel came along. So overall.. not a bad one.. By 10pm, everyone set to go off.. too tired.

Friday
On leave as had planned to go for my massage.. but... "auntie visited" so cancelled the whole thing and in the end, stay home and clean up the whole house. As usual, morning prepare Ryan to school then went to do some marketing for sat gathering. Back home, started my housechores.. can u imagine, i took about 4 hours to clean up everything, vaccum, mop the whole house.. Tired... Then pick Ryan up at 5pm... Clean and change him and off we go to Bishan for my dental appt. Brought Ryan along.. Little terror "boh si tiam". After dental, went J8 walked around while waiting for HC to come and pick us.

Saturday
Went market to buy fish, prawns. Got home and clean up the stuff then HC wanted to go Compass Point. Early morning 1030am.. some shops were open.. some not.. Shop awhile then went home. bought lunch back then eat. After lunch, made Ryan sleep then i continue to prepare my stuff for dinner. Ryan's teacher, Eileen popped by for a visit since she left LTH. Shortly after, Liang came over.. Prepared all the steamboat stuff.. then 6pm, Eileen left as her hubby came and pick her.. Bb came over shortly. As u all know the last is always Maria and her bf.. needless to say.. she is always the slowest!!!!

Started dinner at 630pm.. Ate, drink chit chat.. had an enjoyable time with the gang. Been a long long time since we last met. By 10pm.. all of them started to leave... HC brought Ryan up while i mop the house.. Turn in for the night.

Sunday
Didnt went back my parent's place. Thought will just stay home and clean up the house for 1 last round before mil comes back. So vaccum and mop the whole house while Ryan nap. Then sms BP and ask about their arrival time.. So 3plus, BP came and pick me to the airport to welcome them back.. Had dinner at T3.. headed home and that's end of my 4 days of holiday!!!

Woke up early this morning at 7am by my personal alarm clock. When he wakes up; means no more sleeping for me. So nua at bed till 8plus then daddy wanted to eat tau suan.. So we changed and off we zoom off to Buangkok.. no free parking, then zoom off again to Hougang mall. Went to Kopitiam.. that auntie super no manners..

HC: Hello auntie, is the tua suan ready for sale???

This old auntie... simply no manners and almost spolit our beautiful morning! Then walk abit further to another kopitiam and finally bought what he wanted. Drove home and eat.

After our light breakfast, we went to have our shower and went to punggol to pick sil and belicia and off we went to Far East Square for Mil's mother's day lunch. It's a dim sum ala carte buffet. The food not bad.. and their service are fast. Reached there at 1130am.. and left at almost 2pm..

Next destination, headed to my mum's place to pick them and off we go to the Flyer. Met up with my sister there. In fact bought this flyer tickets since last year thru my sis in law and its expiring on 31st May.. so better hurry.. Took lots of pics too.. So this was how i spend my sunday and it's back to reality tomorrow.. W.O.R.K!!

Woke up early at 7am... by the kind gesture from Ryan, of course... Got him to disturb his daddy too.. So woke up made milk for him and by 1015am, we are out from the house. First destination to Geylang to see his master for some work related advice then head on to visit my uncle who got discharge recently from hospital for urine infection. Then to my parent's place to bring them for Sakura lunch buffet @ Downtown East.

Damm crowded... Forgot to book table.. in the end, took the tables outside which is good anyway cos inside is like without aircon loh and mind you... most customers are malays.. though not a racist.. i never expect malays to be so rich to dine out in big groups! very crowded... lots of ppl... limited helpers... Had a very fun lunch and left.. Walk around and spend $6 for Ryan's kiddy rides.. Dunno is mother's day or Ryan's day! ahahaha....

The management emailed out the most annoying email that one could ever received.

"Dear all,

Please be informed that with immediate effect, the Company will no longer implement Saturday and Sunday warehouse sales program and all staffs shall be required to work on alternate Saturday basis.

Attached duty roster for your prompt attention and action. For those staffs who had already worked on full Saturday and Sunday on 2nd & 3rd May 2009 repsectively, they do not have to report work on alternate Saturday in the month of May 2009."

When i saw this, i am boiling from inside out.. Not a bit least considerate to people's feeling. They can change and implement this as and when they like.. I am utterly disgusted.. I wrote and email to the HR and just told her off.. She wrote back a load of rubbish to me and i just dun bother to reply anymore. Boss wrote to me, i ignored too..

You are not focusing in your business that why it's not making money.. Good luck to you!

Labour Day ~ 1st May 09

The long awaited PH came.

It's gonna be a long weekend for me but such happiness dun stay long... (will related the whole story)

Brought Ryan to Kallang Leisure Park.. A place where i used to frequent during my sec school days for bowling sessions with my friends before we head back to school for tuition/ remedial lessons.. memories came back flashing and how i wished i never need to grow.. Yearning for the carefree days back then.. it always made me smile..

That morning, brought Ryan to Bambini Playclub at around 1030am.. Got mil to go along since she will be so bored at home and didnt want to hear complaints/gossips such as the kids (referring to us) never bring her out etc.. So took the inititative and ask her along.. She followed.
I paid for the enterance fee for Ryan and went in with him. Mil didnt wanted to go in so HC accompanied her around to the shopping centre since it had changed so much and her 1st time there. We spent about 45mins inside.. Ryan wasnt that active.. perhaps 1st visit.. shall bring him back again.. so that he can actively play and climb by himself. After the play session, we headed to the toilet and clean him before we went to food court to meet them for lunch. I shared a plate of chicken rice with him.. He could easily finish half portion.. :)

Proceeded to next destination.. Tampines.. (mil wants to go there and seek the wise's one advice for her precious grand-daughter). HC wasnt happy about it as it doesnt concern us and of course, the waiting time etc.. So he nag at his mum.. Anyway, that's between him, his mum and his bro issue. After that went to AMK to help his sister collect a new hp and zoom off to her place at Bukit Panjang... Stayed there for almost 2 hrs before heading home as mil got dinner that night. We managed to escape as we didnt want to go.. haha...

25 April 09 ~ Andrew & Charlyn's ROM

Morning send Ryan to mum's place as we had to attended HC's cousin ROM solemnization at Coasta Sand Sentosa.. His uncle told us to reached around 1plus.. yet the host themselves came late..

Weather was soooo hot... the fan like not working.. nice place though.. So me and hc roam around the place and also took the rates. Hc plans to book the chalet.. 1st night just the 3 of us.. 2nd night with strictly friends.. whahaha.. (away from mil.. if not she will sure ask us to invite who and who..) **boring** So by the time 330pm.. the soon to be wed couple came in together with the registrar and their family members..

We were already sitted at the tables.. the solemnization started... The volume of the mic was rather soft.. Hardly can hear what they saying.. Anyway, Congrats Andrew and Charlyn..

On half day leave... too stress at work.. so decided to take some time off.. as next week onwards, will be very busy as colleague is going back to m'sia.

Left office at 1pm.. took a bus changed train and headed down to Bugis to meet Lynn ~ who happen to be on half day too.. as she is going to attend our Secondary School Anniversary..

Went for MOF at Bugis to try out this Jap restuarant. Nice food.. Service quite ok. But it's expensive...

On monday evening, got home to see the crying baby. Think he was not well.

So had a quick shower and attend to him. Fever didnt subside and keep crying when i put the fever patch on him.. Cry till vomit.. and body temperature went up to 38.8. Immediately brought him to the doc. Went to see Dr. Zainal.. had to wait over and hour to see him.. His business really good.. Lots of bbies and kiddos were waiting.. So carried him and waiting outside.. had to walked around, coo him and finally he fell asleep.... but hor.. after 15 mins.. a wailing bb woke him up with a scare.. *alamak* so he refused to go to his lalaland again.. Thank goodness.. hubby came in time to take over... Walked him around and half an hour later.. our turn.. @_@

Dr. Zainal took his temperature, check on his body, hands, legs and mouth. Cleared from HFMD. Just fever virus. So had a tablet and stuff it into Ryan's butt.. So less than 10mins we are out from the clinic. Paid for the medicine and left. Waiting time sucks but no choice..

Reached home, cleaned him and he fell asleep. As for me, shall be the "watchdog" for him tonight.

The fever monster finally went off yesterday.. *Phew*

Kept him home for yesterday and today to monitor him. So far so good but little terror is very grouchy... Abit abit will "eh..eh..eh.." Left me with no choice but to use his school teacher names to tame him...

Last two days, "godma aka teacher eileen" smsed to check on Ryan.. Thanks "godma" for the concern.. lastly, thanks everyone for the concern. Ryan is better and shall be back to school soon.

This afternoon received a call from LTH. Ryan's new teacher called. Her name is Teacher Ong.. if i hear correctly..

Understand from her that Ryan's temperature was ok this morning, measuring 36.7 but before his nap, he refused his milk which was unusual. So teacher Ong took his temperature and it hit 37.8. So she called me and informed me of such issue. So gave her my instruction and got her new temperature updates, 38.1.. @_@... So told her to watch his temperature and call me when he wakes up from his nap..

235pm, teacher ong called. Temperature drop a little to 37.8.. so got mil to bring him back..

Back home, fed him paracetamol and he nap again. What has happen to him again???

Will fly back home later asap.

You are simply too free at home!!

You should just get a life and with lots of actitivities and STOP hogging on the phone and tell other people on our family issues.

You should stop nagging on how your kids dun bother about you. You should know your own pattern.

You should not also invade into people's privacy and ask us to clear our stuff.

You should also not tell people what to do and wants them to do in your way! This is the 20s... not your era anymore.

You should also know how many of us can tahan you right at this time.

You should learn to be smart at times and dun listen to gossips that could get you into trouble..

Get a life... Dun be a drag and dun upset our lives!!!

Just out from meeting and received a call from Teacher Eileen..

Teacher Eileen called to inform that today will be her last day @ Little Tree House. I was quite taken back when she told me that. I had to "rewind" back on what will happen to Ryan and the rest of the bbies? Can the bbies cope without her etc... Well, i guess everyone will have their own reasons for moving on to the next better place..

We had a short chat.. her tough decisions to leave after a good 6 years with LTH. She stays too far... (Teacher Eileen, if you happen to see this post, perhaps you can consider to shift to Hougang..haha) Nevertheless, as a parent, i am definately sad to see you leave but as a working individual, it's not realistic to travel so far everyday... So... here like to thank Teacher Eileen for all her TLC (tender.loving.care) towards Ryan and i am sure Ryan and the rest of the kids in LTH will miss her alot.

Thank you Teacher Eileen and wishing you all the best in your new job and do visit us when you come by to Hougang... Keep in touch.

Weekends

Send Ryan over to mum's place as Sat had to go pray FIL and his grandparents at San Qing Gong @ Bedok.

Set off at 1015am and went over to pick Bil and family.. Reached the temple, quite crowded. Waited quite awhile for all relatives to come and start praying together. Spend about 2hrs there and after everything, send mil to tampines to buy some prayer stuff. Had lunch and went home.

Took a short nap then went off to my mum's place to pick Ryan. After that we went to Toa Payoh kiddy palace to buy a car for Ryan. Our birthday gift to him. Actually wanted to buy him a auto-batt car.. which he can step and go.. but we both think the car is too big for him and dun think he can play on his own yet without parental supervision. So we got him a "leg-roll" car.. that cost us almost $35. Dear boy, just bear with this for awhile, when you are older, daddy and mummy will get you the auto car.. :)
