Today super boring at work alot of work but damn sian to do. Waiting for KO time only.

My colleague left on 30th May.. During my 2mth ML, found out that machines that came in was not updated in the stock list. So i think i better start doing it before the inventory and accounts closing.. If not i will be held responsible.. see.. ppl never work, i kena. "shoopid"

Happier stuffs worth mentioning.. My Son, Ryan..

I think he is slowly going to sleep thru the night with one feed. Last night his last feed was at 11pm.. he didnt make noise till 5am in the morning.. :)

Some facts worth knowing from Ryan: (as far as i can remember)

From Birth to today, i have bought 15 packs of NB diapers, 4 tins of Enfalac milk powder, used 6 packs of Pigeon wet wipes and 2 packs of cotton pad.

Day 12: he knows how to make funny face

Week 7: Had his foot prints taken.

Currently: He wants people to talk to him.. haha...

Been such a long time since i log in. Been too busy ever since Ryan's arrival.

Some quick reviews...

I last blog on the 6th May..

5th June: Took maternity leave on mil request cos she needs to bring Belicia to school. So took this opportunity to bring Ryan out and meet up with Dr. Beng, Auntie Carol and Auntie Jenny for lunch at Bishan. Brought him out by myself for the 2nd time. Went to Cafe Cartel.. had pasta.. First time eating and carrying him in my arms.. Didnt bring any stroller cos too bulky.. after lunch, went kiddy palace to buy a sling.. Now on 20% (U.P is $45.90) so i paid $36.70. Went home after that to try out this new "toy" Abit ma fan to use.. maybe becos i am "shoopid".
At night show HC, he say looks like Ryan is going drop off from the sarong.. waste $$ must as well buy kangaroo bag! &*(&^&#@.. Hmm.. shall practise over the weekend..

2nd June: New sofa came.. Ryan's bedset came too.. Initially wanted to buy a cupboard to store Ryan's toys and cloths, but mil say buy him a bedset.. comes with bed, wardrobe and study table.. (she pay $$) I am thinking he wont be sleeping on the bed till he gets older.. so meanwhile, the bed should be benefiting mil's daughters who ocassionally come back to stay over.. anyway... mil's $$ so no say.. @_@
Later in the afternoon, brought Ryan to attend a forumies's housewarming and bday party. 1st time attending this gathering. Met up with the mummies that i have been communicating with..
Reached Auntie Mae's place at 3.15pm.. Ryan was sleeping soundly in his stroller..

31st May: Vesak Day.. HC off.. Brought Ryan to the airport.
His second outing trip. We went there to send my grandma and aunt with family to Hong Kong.. Supposed to be a trip for Ryan.. but little fella fell asleep.. air con too shiok cant tahan.. Flight was delayed by an hour so aunt and people decided to go for a drink.. while we walk around... then went to toilet to change Ryan's diaper.. thought he poo.. but hor.. is his farts.. *piangz* smell like he pooed.. after that went back to find them and feed Ryan his milk before we set off to look for mil (HC's mum).

29th May: BACK TO WORK... Bleh...

27th May: Breakfast gathering at Sims Drie market with my mum's clan... Been a long time since my aunts saw me and they miss Ryan.. After breakfast gathering, went back to circuit rd to nua.. ha..

26th May: Brought Ryan to Mt. A for check up. Weighing :4.42kg. Waited an hour plus to see Dr. Lee. He had face irriations.. and there are bumps on his groin area. Dr Lee said that might due to his BCG jab done on the birth. Told me to monitor.. either it will go off before he turn 1, if not, will have to remove it surgically... Praying hard that it will go off.. I don't want Ryan to go thru all this.. Oh, before i wrap Ryan's diapers back, he treated Dr. Lee for "tea". hahaa... End of the whole consultations, cost me $80.. expensive..Then went back to mum's place.
Me and Ryan slept over at my mum's place cos HC went for dinner.. Had a great time.. Niang Jia still the best.. i didnt have to look after Ryan that night.. Cos he is sleeping with his grandma (my mum)!!!

13th May: Had my first mother's day this year with Ryan's arrival in end march... Nothing special on that day.. just went for dinner with HC clan. Went for Thai food at Premier Thai.. Food so-so only.. Not worth..

5th May 2007

The day i am waiting for. The Phantom of the Opera. Left Ryan home in the care of my Mil and went with to Huiling to watch. Bought the most expensive ticket. Remembered the time when i first watched the musical, it was 11 years back.. when i am only in secondary 2 and the tickets we bought was damn cheap cos still students mah and guess what?? We were sitting high up and could hardly see a thing.. only can remember the chandier and the screaming... so since it's coming back after so many years, i think it's a must watch...
Went for th matinee show at 2pm.. bought a mug as souvenir. no regrets paying and it really bring back the memories... Basically, the show was FANTASTIC!!
Show finished at 4plus. so called hubby and ask to meet him at his workplace so that we can go home together.

It's Branden 1st birthday. Having the celbration at the Changi SAF resort. Wanted to bring Ryan there but Mil say too late, too noisy, lots of mossies so better dun bring baby there. So decided to back pack Ryan to popo's house for a 2D 1N stay at Circuit Rd.
Send Ryan there at 6plus then off we went to Branden's birthday party.. huge place.. lots of facilities there.. for me quite boring cos most of the food i cant eat cos havent past the confinment 40 days... so only had a drink and a piece of cake.
10 plus we went home.. Only hubby and me.. so had some couple time and the best time was that i can have a good sleep cos the next day still have go to guan yin temple to return thanks.

6th May

Went to guan yin temple to return thanks for letting me have a smooth and safe delivery. After that had breakfast with hubby at Burlington Square. Had BK for breakfast then off i went back to circuit rd to see Ryan.. Miss Ryan alot!

2nd May 2007

Brought Ryan for his second hep b jab today.
Reached Hougang Poly clinic at 9am.. Long Q at the Registration counter. Ha.. Baby do have priority. But Mil say that Ryan pooed! So briught him up register and checked with the nurse to see if i can bring him home to change.. The nurse said ok..so i quicky rush home.. lucky only stayed opposite the poly clinic...
Faster went home, changed him and brought him back. Inform teh nurse that we are back.. and we didnt wait long for our turn to come. The nurse was very helpful. Weigh Ryan and took his height. Weight 3.6kg, Length: 50cm. Before she jab she pre-warn me that bb do cry and dun get a shock. Ryan had his jab on his thigh.. When the needle poked in.. wah lau.. his face turned red and Wa....i see liao also very heart pain.. then went out to see doc. Waited for 5mins to see the doc. Everything was ok.. so will be back in 3 months time for his jab again..

1st May 2007

Labour Day! Hubby doesnt need to go work.. SO decided to bring Ryan out and back to my mum's place.
Woke up at 6plus for Ryan's feed. Preapre him and by the time we are ready to set off it's already 12noon.
Ryan's first outing is to Junction 8.. ha.. Went to swenson for lunch. Then proceed on to NTUC for Ryan's necessity.. Just went we were checking out some prices, Ryan started to cry.. think he's hungry.. so quicklu grab pur stuff and headed for the cashier. I pacify him with water and make milk in the car for him..
Finally had his feed when hubby went to petrol kiosk to pump petrol. Reached mum's place at around 2plus.. Left Ryan there to sleep while me and hubby went to hair salon. I went for my much needed hair wash while hubby went for his hair cut.. Went back home, Ryan was still in dream land so didnt disturb him. Left popo's house at 430pm...

What a eventful day for Ryan.. ha..

Supposed to go back to mum's place but... too tired and wanted to clear and pack Ryan's room. So didnt go and took every opportunity to sleep when Ryan sleeps.. ha...
So a day spent at home lazing around..

Ryan's Baby Shower!

Finally the day arrived! Woke up early as usual to prepare him and myself for the exciting day!
Started off having prayers at home then went off to my mum's place to do prayers as well then we headed off to my aunt's condo where the baby shower was held.

Occassion: RYAN'S BABY SHOWER
Venue: Central Grove Condo Function Room
Time: 1130am to 1500pm

Reached around 11am and the buffet caterer: Neo garden was early too.
Decorated the place abit with ballons and some wordings.. Guests started to come in around 12plus.. As usual, my long time no see friends, relatives, and forumies came..
The star of the day was busy sleeping.. So not much chances for those who wanted to carry him.. ha..
Received lots of gifts and ang pows.. Ryan says THANK YOU to all uncles and aunties, kor kors and jie jies...
Finally, 1st seesion ended at 0245pm. Cleared up the place and headed popo's house.
Replenished Ryan's water and change his diapers before we headed off to pick HC's grandma at Pasir Ris.

415pm: Reached Pasir Ris. Picked HC's grandma and headed home. Had some rest and change Ryan for his next session mainly for Ryan's Daddy's relatives and friends.

Venue: The Florida Function Room
Time: 7pm to 1030pm

We reached around 6pm. Caterer: Jingle early too.. Guests started to flood in as well. More gifts and and ang pows... The start of the night also slept most of the time.. Isnt he such a good boy??? ha...
My buddies came back too.. so chatted and time flies.. 10plus le... my god.. So ask hubby what time can we go back cos still have to clean Ryan and adjust ourselves cos he will be sleeping with us tonight as the Confinment auntie has gone home. Packed up and our car boot was big enough to house all the gifts so had to as Tjio to help us with it.. (she drives a white beetle) ha.. My two other friends came along too.. lucky got them to help me bring it up to my place... Maria even help me clean Ryan while i prepare his cot and milk.
Finally when i make Ryan sleep it's already 12plus, and by the time i am ready for bed... it's 1am!!!
