I am sick...

Was on MC yesterday and today.
Started two weeks ago with block nose, then with slight cough and now two in one: Full blast!! Been coughing soon badly till i had to see a doc for stronger medications, anti-biotics. Thought i could self medicate cos i am breast feeding Ryan so i am trying to avoid all the medicines. Still.. i didnt managed to recover... so medications are on.. breast feeding to stop till i finish my anti-biotics.

So here i am, lazing at home, resting. Ryan is sleeping soundly in his sarong... Hope that i can recover fast so that i can kiss Ryan again.. all i could do now is to cuddle him to make him sleep cos HC cant do it... Ha.. maybe Ryan prefers me than him.. whahaa..

Ok, resting time, getting abit mabok liao!! Ciao...

Boring Sunday.. Woke up as usual with normal routine..
HC need not to work today so i cook breakfast for him.. a bowl of instant noodle add egg!
After that, we went back to laze on our bed with Ryan.. haa.. then after which i had to prepare Ryan and his barang bag to go out.. Mil's sister house warming @ Punggol, so invited us over. Set off the house at 1230pm... upon reaching, Ryan poo!!! alamak.. go ppl house and release fortune. After which left him inside the stroller and my god, the place is sooo hot.. the house not very bad.. exterior very nice.. condo layout.. but interior.. layout abit weird. the area is about 91sqm. mil keep saying condo layout very nice.. Since she like it so much, wonder if she will go buy and stay by herself.. (me day dreaming again). The buffet was not nice either.. so we just eat "yi si" only the HC say we go off.. So we went off with BIL and family.. Went to his house cos they have viewing.. they have intention to sell off their condo... So stayed there till 5 plus then go home..

Really lazy boring sunday leh... looking forward for HC's next off day...

Ryan's visit to KKH on 22 June 07

It's Friday, sunny morning... Woke up early with normal routine and shower Ryan as i had to bring him to KKH to see PD surgeon with regards to his lymnode on his groin.
Appt at 930am.. was late for 10 mins. Went to counter and did his registration. Didnt have to wait very long for Ryan's turn.
Saw Dr. Caroline Ong and she went down to examine Ryan. According to Dr. Ong, it's common again but... she was hoping that she didnt need to operate on Ryan. She mentioned that the pus has yet to outbreak.. so hoping that the swell will go down and monitor again. If it doesnt go down, we will have to bite the bullet!! It will not be a easy surgery as to remove the lymnode but she needs to do it before the out break if not that will be a disaster.. Minimum stay will be at least 2 days... i was really terrified... Praying that the swell will go down. I cant bear to see my baby to be lay on the OT table... but if we have to do it... we will pray that you be safe and sound. After that we went to Daddy's shop to find him and went home together.
Next appt for Ryan is on the 29 June, 950am.

One happy thing worth mentioning.. Bestest Friend, Mei has given birth to his baby boy weighing 3.3kg!! Welcome Baby Ayden!!!!

HC says Ayden looks like Mr. Liao... Hmm.. let see.. they change everyday...

Once again, Congrats to Mr. & Mrs Liao on the arrival of their baby boy, Ayden.

Busy... busy... so busy...

Finally mid week.. it's thurday.. been so busy with work.. all the phone ringing, emails...

decided to take a short break for now.. Tml is the day that i will have to bring Ryan to KKH to see the PD surgeon. Dun know what will be the outcome. Pray that everything will be fine.

Too bored so went to do some pics editing for my son.. Such a cutie pie right??

Ok, gotta go back to work station.. Will update on Ryan's visit to the doc tomorrow. Ciao...

Today on leave. Brought Ryan back to mum's place.. Always looking forward to go back instead of staying home.. Since i heard some bird language from my mil... think all the more i will go back to my niang jia every weekend... Can you imagine my mil telling my good friend my bird language??? what kind of mil is she??? Crazy!!! Don't talk about her.. spoil my mood only...

Reach Circuit Rd at 11am. Ryan was sleeping soundly in my arms.. so put him down to the bed while i go cook porridge for lunch.. Thought my grandma should be discharge and wanting to go over and visit her.. but she still cant go home, the senior doc ask her to stay for one more day... Brought Ryan out with mum to go pray @ Rangoon rd.. to help Ryan's to ward off all the bad things etc.. then took a cab back.. Nowadays... bring out Ryan, my wallet must at least have $100.. cos of all the cabs fare etc... Tabao dessert back and eat... Time flies yesterday and hubby came and pick us up at 7pm... Looking forward for weekend... :)

Rainy day..
Woke up and prepare cos have to visit grandma at SGH cos of dizziness... We only received the news on Sat night... really got a shocked as Grandma is always fit and healthy...
Hubby and i went to visit her reach SGH at 1030am.. left Ryan at mil's care..
Saw grandma napping when we arrived.. Hubby stayed for awhile as he has to go work... while i stay with her till 2pm.. Chatted with grandma... seems like a long time since i lasted chatted with her leisurely... Kinda advice her to take things easy and dun always carry heavy stuff..
Grandma likes to: carry heavy things, take all the responsibilities etc... she is not getting any younger... have to take things easy... Bought lunch for her cos she doesnt like hopsital food... who likes it anyway??? haa... Ask her to nap while i stone there to wait for my aunt to come.. but before i can wait for them, i had to leave cos mil needs to go and perm hair... So left SGH at 2pm and headed home.. Before that, went to Polar and bought 2 slice of strawberry cheesecake and 1 slice of blackforest cake for hubby and myself... Yummy!!!

Reached home, mil nag abit.. say why i buy cakes when there are so many ba changs.. I buy things also want to interfere... bo liao!!! But i did offer if she want to have a slice.. she dun want.. then i save it for hubby... haa... I cant be bothered with her.. Just my luck to have her staying with me.. bleh!!!! :(

Have been looking forward to weekend since Thursday. Have been thinking of taking mc on friday as i have been coughing very badly.. but.. still came to work cos there are so much things to do..

Woke up early as usual for daily routine. Prepare Ryan cos bring him to see pd with regards to the lump on his groin. Went to Kidslink @ Sengkang under the recommendation of my bestest friends. OMG... the waiting Q is sooooooo long... and the place is really noisy with kids crying... In the end, i called up Northern Hope @ Punggol Plaza to check if the PD is in and if there is any Q... Surprise.. no Q and PD is in.. So quickly went over.. Reached the clinic at 12plus. Registered Ryan and waited for awhile. The nurse called out Ryan for weighing.. He weighed 5kg as of 16 June. Then proceeded to see Dr. Zainal.
Dr. Z went down to examined Ryan and OMG... it's consider big 3cm x 1.5w... So he listed that it's pretty common and he have seen many cases like this when he was a pd in kkh... so ask me if i prefer to go KKH or Mt. A. I told him so long the PD is good, i dun mind anywhere..
Dr. Z explained that it's the complications of post BCG vaccination is called lymphadenitis (Lymnode inflammation or infection). Advice that it should be taken out.. So he gave me a referral letter to KKH this coming Friday. Praying hard that everything will be ok... Really cant bear to see him go under the knife. The consultation lasted for 30mins.. Not a bad PD.. keep asking me if i have any questions that i wanna know.. Will likely list him to be Ryan's PD...
Left the clinic at 1245pm..

Took a cab and went Bishan Junction 8 to meet my friend for lunch then shop awhile then go home... Reach home settle Ryan and clean my room and order KFC for dinner.. Hubby's Father's day treat...

13th June 2007

Time flies for this week. Been busy at work, more things to do since Sebastian has left the coy. Office kinda of "banned" msn... so cant log online.. but still continue to chat with my FCBs via email...
There is something that i looked forward to... THE DINNER @ SIZZLER...
There was an E-voucher sent to my email earlier this week so i just merely sent this to them... and we just suggested going...

Met the girls @ 630pm at TPY. We headed up and started looking at the menu while waiting for Michelle... Been such a long time since i join them for a meal.. Really enjoyed myself and we yakk throughout.. can't imagine right?? We talk so much during office hours via email, face to face also got things to talk.. "Power" whahahaa...
We left around 930pm.. after the hearty meal..

Reached home around 10pm cos got to send HC's friend back... back home, quickly feed Ryan, pack his night feed essentials to my room , shower and wash clothes.. While waiting for the clothes, i pat Ryan to sleep... but he was abit cranky.. didnt finish his milk... So left him on the bed to play with HC.. while i do my things.. When i am done, Ryan's eyes still so big.. Alamak.. So i carry him and pat him to sleep... took me a long time man...

Lazy Saturday morning...

Woke up at 5plus to feed Ryan milk.. then after which i will proceed to do my things (eg: wash up, express milk, sterlise bottles..) a daily routine since after Ryan's arrival..

Shower Ryan at 930am and feed him milk at 1015am.. let him nap till 12noon cos going out with mil to pray.

Reached the praying place at 1plus.. Ryan's milk time again.. so fed him while mil offer joss sticks.. After finishing, he "gek" his face till red.. "jialat" poo time.. and his smell came and pollute the whole area.. So pai seh.. quickly brought him out to change... he poo so much that it stained his clothes.. Lucky i brought extra clothes... so changed him before praying.. After that go home to prepare as meeting bestest friends to attend BB Zavier's first birthday!

Today super boring at work alot of work but damn sian to do. Waiting for KO time only.

My colleague left on 30th May.. During my 2mth ML, found out that machines that came in was not updated in the stock list. So i think i better start doing it before the inventory and accounts closing.. If not i will be held responsible.. see.. ppl never work, i kena. "shoopid"

Happier stuffs worth mentioning.. My Son, Ryan..

I think he is slowly going to sleep thru the night with one feed. Last night his last feed was at 11pm.. he didnt make noise till 5am in the morning.. :)

Some facts worth knowing from Ryan: (as far as i can remember)

From Birth to today, i have bought 15 packs of NB diapers, 4 tins of Enfalac milk powder, used 6 packs of Pigeon wet wipes and 2 packs of cotton pad.

Day 12: he knows how to make funny face

Week 7: Had his foot prints taken.

Currently: He wants people to talk to him.. haha...

Been such a long time since i log in. Been too busy ever since Ryan's arrival.

Some quick reviews...

I last blog on the 6th May..

5th June: Took maternity leave on mil request cos she needs to bring Belicia to school. So took this opportunity to bring Ryan out and meet up with Dr. Beng, Auntie Carol and Auntie Jenny for lunch at Bishan. Brought him out by myself for the 2nd time. Went to Cafe Cartel.. had pasta.. First time eating and carrying him in my arms.. Didnt bring any stroller cos too bulky.. after lunch, went kiddy palace to buy a sling.. Now on 20% (U.P is $45.90) so i paid $36.70. Went home after that to try out this new "toy" Abit ma fan to use.. maybe becos i am "shoopid".
At night show HC, he say looks like Ryan is going drop off from the sarong.. waste $$ must as well buy kangaroo bag! &*(&^&#@.. Hmm.. shall practise over the weekend..

2nd June: New sofa came.. Ryan's bedset came too.. Initially wanted to buy a cupboard to store Ryan's toys and cloths, but mil say buy him a bedset.. comes with bed, wardrobe and study table.. (she pay $$) I am thinking he wont be sleeping on the bed till he gets older.. so meanwhile, the bed should be benefiting mil's daughters who ocassionally come back to stay over.. anyway... mil's $$ so no say.. @_@
Later in the afternoon, brought Ryan to attend a forumies's housewarming and bday party. 1st time attending this gathering. Met up with the mummies that i have been communicating with..
Reached Auntie Mae's place at 3.15pm.. Ryan was sleeping soundly in his stroller..

31st May: Vesak Day.. HC off.. Brought Ryan to the airport.
His second outing trip. We went there to send my grandma and aunt with family to Hong Kong.. Supposed to be a trip for Ryan.. but little fella fell asleep.. air con too shiok cant tahan.. Flight was delayed by an hour so aunt and people decided to go for a drink.. while we walk around... then went to toilet to change Ryan's diaper.. thought he poo.. but hor.. is his farts.. *piangz* smell like he pooed.. after that went back to find them and feed Ryan his milk before we set off to look for mil (HC's mum).

29th May: BACK TO WORK... Bleh...

27th May: Breakfast gathering at Sims Drie market with my mum's clan... Been a long time since my aunts saw me and they miss Ryan.. After breakfast gathering, went back to circuit rd to nua.. ha..

26th May: Brought Ryan to Mt. A for check up. Weighing :4.42kg. Waited an hour plus to see Dr. Lee. He had face irriations.. and there are bumps on his groin area. Dr Lee said that might due to his BCG jab done on the birth. Told me to monitor.. either it will go off before he turn 1, if not, will have to remove it surgically... Praying hard that it will go off.. I don't want Ryan to go thru all this.. Oh, before i wrap Ryan's diapers back, he treated Dr. Lee for "tea". hahaa... End of the whole consultations, cost me $80.. expensive..Then went back to mum's place.
Me and Ryan slept over at my mum's place cos HC went for dinner.. Had a great time.. Niang Jia still the best.. i didnt have to look after Ryan that night.. Cos he is sleeping with his grandma (my mum)!!!

13th May: Had my first mother's day this year with Ryan's arrival in end march... Nothing special on that day.. just went for dinner with HC clan. Went for Thai food at Premier Thai.. Food so-so only.. Not worth..
